　今日は、朝から1年4組のみなさんと2年生のボランティアで来てくれたみなさんが協力して、各階のフロアの清掃や荷物の移動を手伝ってくださいました。
　感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。先生たちだけでは絶対にできないところまで力を貸してくれました。おかげで、新年度に向けた準備が早く進めることができます。
　本当にありがとうございました。

　今日は、とても気持ちの良い朝を迎えました。天気も快晴です！

　昨日、無事に各小学校で卒業式を終えた6年生のみなさんが、深野中学校に来ました。クラス分けのためのテストを行います。
　少しだけですが、中学校の雰囲気を味わってもらえたらと思います。

　図書館より、お知らせします。
　この度は、学習委員会が中心となって「古本市」を開催しましたが、たくさんの本が集まりました。ご協力ありがとうございました。
　また、そこからたくさんの要望もあり、とてもうれしく思います。
　要望が複数の方からあった本については、厳正なる抽選を行い、当選された方にご連絡させていただきます。楽しみに待っていてください。

　そして、コロナ禍において待ちに待った設備が図書館に配備されました。除菌BOXです！
　本についたウイルスや菌をたった45秒だけ紫外線をあてて除菌するというものです。とても高価なものなので、大切に使っていきたいと思います。

　まもなく今週1週間が終わろうとしていますが、実は1月24日〜30日は…「全国学校給食週間」でした。
　学校での給食のようすはこのホームページでも時々紹介していますが、深野中学校では生徒のみなさんは本当にしっかりと残さず給食をよく食べてくれています。お代わりもすぐに無くなるくらいで、本当にありがたいことです。

　学校給食は、明治22年に始まり、各地に広がっていきました。戦争の影響などによって一時中断されましたが、昭和22年1月から学校給食が再開し、12月24日に東京都内の小学校で給食用物資の贈呈式が行われ、学校給食感謝の日と定めました。昭和25年度から、学校給食による教育効果を促進する観点から、冬季休業と重ならない1月24日から1月30日までの1週間を「学校給食週間」としました。
　子どもたちの食生活を取り巻く環境が大きく変化し、偏った栄養摂取、肥満傾向など、健康状態について懸念される点が多く見られる今日、学校給食は子供たちが食に関する正しい知識と望ましい食習慣を身に付けるために重要な役割を果たしています。
　学校給食週間においては、このような学校給食の意義や役割について、児童生徒や教職員、保護者や地域住民の理解を深め関心を高めるため、全国で様々な行事が行われています。

　先日、大阪府学校給食会が主催する「大阪府内中学生対象朝食フォトコンテスト」があり、深野中学校からも応募し、見事2年生1名が入選しました。おめでとうございます！！
「おおさかの学校給食だより66号(P5)」に掲載されましたので、ぜひ覗いてみてください(↑写真)。

　また、木曜日(金曜日)には、生徒のみなさんにお茶(ティーパック)を配りました。農林水産省による「茶販売促進緊急対策」の一環「Japan Tea Action」で、全国の学校の児童や生徒にお茶を配るという取り組みで、深野中学校にも届けられました(↓写真)。
　お茶には健康や美容にまつわるいろいろな効能があるといわれています。緊急事態宣言下で、不要不急の外出自粛が余儀なくされている今、自宅でお茶を飲んでゆっくりと過ごしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

　2021年がスタートして、明日で1週間がたちます。
　新年のご挨拶が遅くなりましたが、本年もよろしくお願いいたします。

　今年も明日から随時、ホームページを更新し、学校の様子をお知らせしていきます。

　さて、いよいよ明日、3学期が始まりますが、心と身体の準備はできていますか？
　新しい年を迎えるにあたり、何といっても年の初め（学期の初日）が最も大切です。2021年、最初の登校日となる明日は絶対にいい1日にしましょう。

　そして、明日の1月7日は、人を大切にする『人日(じんじつ)の節句』でもあります。お正月最後となる日で、春の七草が入ったおかゆ(七草がゆ)を食べて1年の豊作と無病息災を願います。

　コロナに負けない元気な身体をつくる健康な1年にしましょう。
　では明日、みなさんの元気なあいさつと最高の笑顔を楽しみにしています。

　新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大は収まる気配がなく、世界の感染者数が8000万人を超えようとしています。

　「新型コロナの世界最初の症例は2019年12月8日に発症した」とWHO(世界保健機関)は発表しています。
　中国の武漢市で流行が報道された当初は海鮮市場に関連する症例が多かったということで、ここで売られていた野生動物が感染源でありヒトに感染するようになったのではないかという推測もありましたが、この海鮮市場とは全く関連がない症例がいくつも報告されています。

　国際連合(国連(UN))は今年の12月7日に、12月27日を「感染症対策国際デー」とする決議を賛成多数で採択しました。今日は「感染症対策国際デー」です。12月27日は、フランスの化学者・細菌学者であるルイ・パスツールの誕生日(1822年12月27日生)です。パスツールは感染症の原因が微生物であることを発見し、ワクチンを開発して予防接種の基礎を築きました。
　感染症対策についての認識を向上させ、より良い準備と協力ができるようにするため、「感染症対策国際デー」の記念行事を開催するよう呼びかけています。


　人類はこれまで、さまざまな感染症と何度も戦ってきました。原因も治療も十分に確立されていなかった時代には、感染症のパンデミックは歴史を変えるほどの影響を及ぼしてきました。感染症をもたらす病原体や対処方法がわかってきたのは、1800年代後半になってからで、その後、感染症による死亡者は激減しました。
　しかし、以前には知られてなかった新たな感染症（新興感染症）や、過去に流行した感染症で一時は発生数が減少したものの再び出現した感染症（再興感染症）が問題になっています。
　この先、どんなことが待ち受けているのか…誰にもわかりませんが、何とか食い止める方法を見つけなければいけないでしょう。

　下の表は、『これまでにパンデミックが起きた主な過去の感染症』と『新型コロナウイルス感染症だけではない！！まだまだ存在する恐ろしい主な感染症…』です。まずは知ることから…です。そこから私たちに何ができるかを本気で考えてみてほしいと思います。

　花壇のお花を入れ替えてくださったり、掃除をしてくださいました。

　こんばんはm(_ _)m。
　今日は、とてもワクワクするニュースがありました。
　12月5日(土)午後2時35分に小惑星探査機『はやぶさ２』に搭載されたカプセルの分離を確認し、成功したというニュースがありました。
　『はやぶさ２』は、2014年12月3日に打ち上げられ、6年かけて、約52億7500km飛行して戻ってきたというのです。

　カプセルは『たばてばこ』と呼ばれ、地球から約3億km離れた小惑星「リュウグウ」の石や砂が入っているそうです。明日の午前２時〜３時ごろにオーストラリア南部の砂漠地帯に着地する予定だそうです。

　小惑星「リュウグウ」には、太陽系が生まれた頃(今から約46億年前)の水や有機物が、今でも残されていると考えられていて、地球の水はどこから来たのか、生命を構成する有機物はどこでできたのか…。その謎を解く鍵があるかもしれないというのです。

　46億年の時を越えて…『たまてばこ』が開けられるというのです！！

　また、この『はやぶさ』が小惑星に行ったり、地球に戻ったりするために絶対に欠かせないのが円周率の計算だというのです。

　中学生のみなさんが、学習している円周率の計算は、3.14ですが…、『はやぶさ１(2003年打ち上げ)』で使われた円周率の計算は…、
　3.141592653589793の16桁だというのです。
　もし3.14で計算してしまうと、15万kmものズレが生じ、小惑星にも行けず、地球にも戻れないというのです。（この技術は、南米にある6cmの的を日本から当てるのと同じくらいの精度になるそうです。）
　そう考えると、日本の科学技術は世界でもトップクラスであり、本当にすごい！と感動させられます。

　そして、なんと…『はやぶさ２』は、すでに地球の軌道を離れて、次の小惑星「1998KY26」をめざす旅に出たそうです。
　10年後の2031年に到着し、探査するそうです。今度は約100億kmの旅になるようです。（今回の2倍…。とてつもない…計画ですね。）

　まずは切り離されたカプセルが無事に大気圏を突破して地球に着地することですね。(23時20分時点で…地球まで、あと73,000km)

　新型コロナウイルス感染症が収まる気配のない今日この頃…。収まるどころか、今回の波がこれまでの波よりも勢いよく強まっています。

　昨日の大阪府は、326人の新型コロナ感染を確認、重症者は過去最多の108人(重症病床使用率は52.4％)、そして新型コロナウイルス感染症で亡くなった方も過去最多の12人でした。
　ステージ４となると、爆発的な感染拡大状況という判断になり、緊急事態再宣言が視野に入る予断を許さない状況です。

　今の私たちできることは、なによりも感染の拡大を防ぐために、飲食前や帰宅時の手洗い、会話時の距離の確保、屋内で人と十分な距離がとれない場合の換気とマスク着用など「新しい生活様式」を実践、感染者の早期探知、封じ込めが重要です。
　コロナ感染者をこれ以上出さないためにも、深野中学校のみなさんの協力が必要です。

La Niña is thought to have various effects on the weather in Japan. It tends to be extremely hot in summer and cold in winter.

Today, November 7th is “Rittou”.

"Rittou" is one of the calendars based on the movement of the sun called twenty-four seasons, and represents the beginning of winter.
Twenty-four seasons were registered as UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016.
Just like "Rittou", there are "Rissyun", "Rikka", and "Rissyuu", which represent the beginning of the season, and together these four days are called "Shiryuu", all of which represent the beginning of the season.
In addition, the day before "Shiryuu" is "Setsubun". Therefore, "Setsubun" is held four times a year.
It has been believed for a long time that "there is a disaster in Setsubun", so it is said that it is a happy thing to be able to safely celebrate the day of "Shiryuu".

In China, there is a proverb called "Lìdōng bǔ dōng, bǔ zuǐ kōng". It means that it is the best way to weather the cold winter by eating the harvested one in "Rittou" season.

In China and India, millions of people have been out of poverty due to the rapid growth of the economy. However, the proportion of people living in poverty may rise as new threats are caused by climate change, conflict, and food crisis in the future,

Kenya, where I lived for two years from 2000 to 2002, is one of the poorest areas. Especially in rural areas, there were no electricity and running water, and not enough supplies to live on.
Children's work is to draw water from a nearby river every morning.
Children who want to go to school can’t go, because of no money.
Children can't wear shoes, and they wear the same tattered clothes every day, because of no money.
Children can’t go to hospital, because of no money.
In order to get a small amount of money, children also do dirty hard jobs.

　そうです…『お月見』です。実際は、昨日の10月1日が「中秋の名月」でした。体育大会の代休ということで、今日のデザートになったみたいですね。
　昨日の『月』を見たときに、ふと、「んっ！？、満月のようで…まん丸ではないぞ…」と感じました。

Athletes from all over the world should be here alongside sixty thousand spectators, gazing up at the Olympic flame. Suddenly, everything changed.
The future that we took for granted transformed, overnight, into something completely different.
I understand what that’s like, because I experienced the same thing when I had a life-threatening illness. Meeting people. Walking outside. Using my entire body to swim in the pool. These simple pleasures are all so precious, yet before my illness I took them for granted.

The other athletes who lost Tokyo 2020 must feel the same. The goal they’d been working toward suddenly disappeared. For an Olympic or Paralympic level athlete, the training is extremely demanding and the mental pressure is intense. There are days when you want to run away from it all. But when all of that suddenly disappears, you truly appreciate how much it meant to you and how much you loved the sport. That’s what happened to me.

Imagine the world in a year: a world where the curtain is set to rise on the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Right now, athletes around the world are looking to that future, pushing themselves to the limit. No effort, no matter how small, is ever wasted. The confidence that sports inspires, the human connections it helps us make are truly irreplaceable.

One last thing. Sports is not just about the athletes. Sports show us the importance of solidarity. I never want to forget that. I want to remember my gratitude and respect for all those who contribute to their society as I take my next step. As an athlete, as a person.
